  • Valiant Design Studio specialises in custom website design, brand identity design, Squarespace website templates, and Squarespace website maintenance services. My goal is to help businesses and creatives elevate their online presence with elegant, functional, and impactful designs.

  • I’m based in Regional Victoria, Australia, but I work with clients from all over the world. As I own an online-based business, we can connect via email, Zoom, or a phone call, distance is never an issue.

  • Yes - I understand that investing in design services is a significant decision, and I strive to make my services accessible to clients with varying budgets. My goal is to ensure that finances never stand in the way of achieving your design goals.

    My standard payment plan is a non-refundable deposit of 50% to be paid prior to commencement to secure your booking. The remaining 50% is to be paid upon completion of the project.

    Alternatively, we can split the total project cost into 3 or 4 milestone payments.

BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN

  • In short, no. I stick by the strong belief that a brand is much more than ‘just a logo’. While a logo is undoubtedly a crucial component of a brand’s visual identity, it is only one piece of a larger puzzle. True brand identity involves a holistic approach that considers the brand’s values, personality, target audience, and overall objectives.

    By focusing solely on designing a logo without taking these factors into account, I would be doing a disservice to my clients. A single logo, no matter how well-designed, cannot fully encapsulate the essence of a brand on its own. It is the combination of various elements, including typography, colour palette, imagery, messaging, and overall brand experience, that creates a cohesive and memorable brand identity.

    Furthermore, my goal is to create brands that resonate deeply with their audience, forge emotional connections, and stand the test of time. This requires a comprehensive approach to brand design that goes beyond simply creating a logo. I work closely with my clients to understand their brand story, values, and goals, allowing me to develop a visual identity that authentically represents who they are and what they stand for.

  • Yes! All designs are 100% custom-made for your business. I never use pre-made templates, ensuring your brand identity is as unique as your business.

  • Of course! Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or a complete overhaul, I can help reinvent your brand identity to better align with your goals and audience.

WEBSITE DESIGN

  • I specialise in designing and building websites on Squarespace, a user-friendly platform that’s perfect for businesses of all sizes.

  • Currently, I only design for Squarespace because it’s intuitive, beautifully designed, and offers robust features for my clients. If you would prefer to use an alternative platform, I’m more than happy to discuss this.

  • Each purchase includes a professionally designed Squarespace website template, a detailed PDF guide on how to use and customise your template, and access to my email support for any template-related questions during the setup process.

  • Yes, you’ll need an active Squarespace account. If you don’t have one, you can create a free trial account to get started. But in order to publish your website, you must have a Squarespace subscription.

  • No, these templates are specifically designed for Squarespace and are not compatible with other platforms.

  • Absolutely! All Squarespace website templates are fully responsive, meaning your site will look great on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

  • No, each template purchase is for a single-use license. If you’d like to use the template for another project, you’ll need to purchase an additional template.

  • Yes! Squarespace makes it easy to customise fonts, colours, and layouts to match your brand. The included PDF guide will walk you through making these adjustments.

  • Yes, the templates are fully customisable. You can (and should) replace all demo images and text with your own content.

  • If you’d like professional help, I offer a service called The Custom Fit, where I customise the template for you. This includes adding your branding, content, and making adjustments to suit your business needs.

  • Yes! Once the template is transferred to your Squarespace account, it will look exactly the same. as the demo site. From there, you can customise it as needed.

  • Not at all! Squarespace is user-friendly, and the guide I provide will walk you through everything step-by-step.

  • After purchasing, you’ll be able to download a PDF guide with instructions on how to use Squarespace. Within 24 hours, I’ll send you a Contributor invitation to your Squarespace account, which you’ll need to accept. Once accepted, ownership of the website will be transferred to you.

  • Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final and non-refundable. However, if you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out for support.

  • I do not offer payment plans for Squarespace website templates. Payment must be made in full at checkout.

  • Yes, you can. Squarespace supports e-commerce, so you can add a shop, product pages, and checkout features to you site if not already included in the template.

  • Yes, you can connect your own custom domain to your Squarespace website. Instructions on how to do this are included in the guide.

  • Yes, Squarespace is a paid platform, and you’ll need an active subscription to use their services.

  • I provide email support for any template-related questions during your setup. For ongoing website maintenance, I offer a separate Squarespace Website Maintenance service.

THE CUSTOM FIT

  • The Custom Fit service is a personalised template customisation offering for clients who’ve purchase one of my Squarespace Website Templates. I’ll refine the design, import your content, and tailor the template to fit your brand.

  • This service is perfect for business owners and creatives who love the look of a pre-designed template but want expert help customising it to reflect their brand identity and content.

  • The Custom Fit uses one of my pre-designed Squarespace Website Templates as the foundation. Full custom website design is a completely bespoke service where I create a website tailored from scratch.

  • Yes, you’ll need to have a Squarespace account and an active subscription plan to use this service. If you don’t already have one, I can guide you through the setup process.

  • Typically, the customisation process takes 4 days, depending on the complexity of your needs and the responsiveness of your feedback.

  • The Custom Fit is specifically for my pre-designed templates. If you need help with a different Squarespace template, let’s chat to see how I can assist.

  • That’s okay! You can still start the customisation process, and I can help you connect a domain name once you’ve purchased it.

  • Yes! I can help you set up integrations for email marketing for seamless use.

  • No. Your site will remain ‘Private’ or ‘Password Protected’ until you’re ready to launch. This ensures that visitors won’t see an incomplete site.

  • Of course! I offer ongoing support through my Squarespace Website Maintenance service, or if you just have some questions feel free to send me an email.

  • Due to the nature of custom design work, refunds are not available once the project has started. However, I’m committed to ensuring you’re happy with the final result!
